Lin - Name

I am very, very tired of explaining the meaning of name, how to pronounce it, and whether it is my "real" name or not, whatever that means.

Apparently though, your name carries so much of your identity. It says so much about the hopes your parents have for your, your cultural backgrounds, and family history. It is a song without ending, a simple tune that can go on and on. Even on your tombstone, your name is still there, above you.

Name... The most important thing of all! If you are a puzzle, then your name is the key. I read that somewhere.

What a very, very, very grand statement.

Ha, so grand that I don't believe it's true!

I am so much more than my name, but my name tells so much about me that I am not. How shall I go about explaining it?

It would be a very long story... It's almost bed time, though. So I will leave it here.

p.s. Does my name imply anything about laziness? Because I am for sure a lazy potato.
